Beschreibung: Mutter Phim Samutwaree ist 41 Jahre alt. Ihr Mann hat sie verlassen, als sie mit Nong Jub schwanger war. Sie hat drei Kinder.

Runchana ist die Jüngste. Sie ist sechs jahre alt. Ihr Spitzname ist Nong Jub. Runchana hat vor kurzem eine Auszeichnung für ihre guten Leistungen in der Schule erhalten.

Chokdee (16) ist der Älteste. Er hört auf den Spitzname Add. Er war mit Mr. Nin in Kuraburi bei der Bootsbauer-Ausbildung. Jetzt gehört er zum Stab, der unsere Fischereiflotte auf Vordermann bringt. Add musste damals die Schulausbildung abbrechen, da ihn Mutter Phim finanziell nicht unterstützen konnte. Er war ein guter Schüler.

Taweepon ist dreizehn Jahre alt. Er spielt gerne mit seinen Freunden und ist manchmal den ganzen Tag nicht auffindbar.

Vor dem Tsunami hat Phim auf diversen Bausetellen ihren Lebensunterhalt verdient. Sie hat mir erzählt, dass sie und Add viele Überstunden verrichten mussten, um etwas Geld mit nach Hause zu bringen. Während dieser Zeit hat Taweepon auf Nong Jub aufgepasst. Phim hat erwähnt, dass es nicht einfach für sie war, Nong Jub alleine zu lassen, da sie so jung war.

Wenn es keine Arbeit auf der Baustelle gegeben hat, hat sie ihre Zeit in Bangsak verbracht. Hier konnte sie die Dinge verrichten, die ihr am meisten Spass gemacht haben: Auf ihre Kinder aufpassen, auf Tintenfischfang gehen und Angeln. Sie war damals als beste Tintenfischjägerin in dieser Region bekannt.

Mutter Phim schaut optimistisch auf die zukünftigen Projekte. Sie sagt, dass es ein Traum wäre, wenn sie entweder in dem Resort oder in der eigenen Baufirma arbeiten könnte. Beide Projekte sind interessant. Neben der Möglichkeit, in der Nähe ihrer Kinder zu sein, ist es für sie schön, bei ”Willi hilft e.V.” mitzuarbeiten. Sie sagt, dass sie noch nie so pünktlich, wie bei unserer Organisation bezahlt wurde. Sie fühlt sich hier sicher aufgehoben.

Ckokdee (16) is the oldest one. His nickname is Add. He went with Mr. Nin to Kuraburi to get an education about the art of building long tail boats. Now he belongs to the crew, which will build our fleet. Add had to quit school, because mother Phim was not able to support Add financially at that time, although he was a good student.

Taweepon is thirteen. He likes to be with his friends and plays with them all the day.

Before the Tsunami Phim worked on different construction sites. She told me, that she and Add had to work overtimes to get at least a little money to bring back home. During that time Nong Jub had to stay with her brother Taweepon. Phim mentioned that it was always hard for her to stay away from her daugther, because she was so young.

When Phim had no work on construction sites she spent her time in Bangsak. There she was able to the things she liked. Taking care of her children and going on hunt for squids and fishing. She said that she once was famous and the best squid hunter in the region.

Mother Phim looks forward for the project. She said that it would be a dream to work either in the resort or in the construction company. Both of these projects sound good to her. Besides of the possibility of being close to her children she is happy to work for the ”Willi hilft e.V.” foundation. She said that she never got paid in time for her work, but with the foundation she feels secure.
