Beschreibung: Vater Amphon hat vor dem Tsu- nami sein Geld als Bauarbeiter verdient. Nach der Arbeit fuhr er noch raus aufs Meer, um Fische zu fangen. Ehefrau Maree hat ihrem Mann auf dem Bau geholfen.

Zur Familie gehören (v.l.n.r) die Kinder Gunyarat, 4 Jahre, und Gunyapat, 8 Jahre. Da Thais ihre Kinder selten beim richtigen Namen nennen, wird Gunyarat kurz Ning und Gunyapat kurz Nim gerufen.

Die Familie hat großes Vertrauen in das Projekt von Willi. Vater Amphon will in Zukunft als Gärtner arbeiten oder eine eigene Baufirma aufmachen.

Mutter Maree kann sich vorstellen, in dem zukünftigen Ressort einen Job in der Küche zu finden. Das hätte den Vorteil, dass sie in der Nähe ihrer Kinder bleiben könnte.
